The Children of Stories have been an integral part of the Fairelands since 2014, weaving their roleplay story archs together with the Faireland Mythos, always fiercely opposing the Agents of the Unweaver. This year was their tenth story, and the ongoing story’s finale, but that does not mean their stories would be over! We can welcome the Children back in advance to return at Fantasy Faire 2024!

The Gathered called the Fairelanders to their aide, and they answered. A hundred strong and more as some departed to make way for others to have their turn in the fight. To share everything would take too long, but it will be found on the Daily Update page before the end of the Faire. However, the entire story will be told today at 3pm SLT at the Litfest stump at Funglemire, and the Litfest Tour will lead you through the story on site right after at 5pm SLT.

The Broken Mirror was restored thanks to the efforts of the Gathered, but not without some sacrifices and promises being made. The relic granted them another vision which lead them across the rooftops of House Ember. Using the Zipline spells, upside down green flame symbols near buildings, the Gathered quickly discovered the pathway.

Disaster has struck the Gathered’s Camp in the night. The Mirror from the Witch’s Study was broken before it could reveal the final path! No one seemed to go near the mirror except for other children. There was no sound that punctuated the shattering! The worst news of all is that a piece may be missing! Was it the Witch? An Evil Magic professor? The Shadows of the Unweaver? The Children of Stories will be searching for answers today at 1pm slt!
