The Faire is brimming with stories: breathtaking builds and fantastical creations designed to touch your heart and soul. What stories do they inspire in you? We invite you to put your Fantasy Faire experience into words.
The Willows of Nienna (Kilik Lekvoda)
Willows weep into the waters of time poured out by Nienna, the Lady of Compassion, who rules this land, a place of rest where travelers come to find comfort in grief. Here in her tranquil garden of tears, Nienna teaches the endurance of the spirit and the power of hope and time to heal.
Seeds of Story
These are suggestions. Be inspired by this land and write what you desire.
Welcome weary traveler, the gateway to peace awaits you. Who else has passed this way? Were they all unhappy or sad? Did some pass by to tend the gardens or staff the shops? What made them stay when others pass through?
The lady from whence the healing waters flow. What sorrows have you to cry out? Which other voices might you hear? Who or what rustles through the bushes as the willow leaves patter down?
Does the lady materialise beside the statue or does the statue come to life? Perhaps her voice whispers on the winds that send comforting music to you. Might you leave with a companion well met here?
Share your work in draft or final with the rest of the tour in a voluntary open mic, or submit your piece within 24 hours – either inworld or by email – to be posted online along with others inspired by the same region. Some of the these tales will be chosen for broadcast on Fantasy Faire Radio, and may also appear on the Fantasy Faire channel on You Tube.
