The Company of Faire Folk rides out! Or walks, flies or (consults notes) swims – as is your preference. And our first Tour of 2020 takes us to the medieval splendours of … Elemaria!
As far back as time, Elemaria has been. For it was formed by the elements in equal measure. Water, air, earth, and fire. Each element gave the best part of itself to create a place of nature, harmony, and peace. Humankind eventually settled there and built a peaceful village, and a shining castle for their beloved king and queen. They tended the land with care and devotion. But the elements felt something was missing, and so decided to bestow upon them, a fifth element. The element of spirit. This force breathed creative energy into all things. Elemaria is a realm of light, love, and the healing power of creativity.
The Company of Faire Folk will ride out at 5:00pmSLT, Friday 24th April, from the Al-Ma’ala Gathering Place on the Drifts of Anamnesis, to explore the Fairelands.
Things to See:
So many paths to choose, so many delightful vistas! Which path to follow? They ALL lead somewhere interesting. Breathe deeply of the green woods, cool waters and warm earth.
Can you find the signs for all the elements?
Where is the frightening waterfall?
Is there a second spirit stone?
There are statues of the king and queen in hidden glades and a gypsy caravan to find.
Quiet tables to enjoy a drink with friends, and rabbits of the most amazing colours!
Things to Ponder:
Did the spirit of creativity affect the rabbits or were they drawn to it from other lands, to find peace and acceptance of their jewel colors here?
What artisans labour in the city?
Why is their king so beloved?
Tours leave daily at 5:00pm from the Al-Ma’ala Gathering Place on the Drifts of Anamnesis, to explore the Fairelands.
We encourage people who join the Tours to write about the Fairelands we visit. We would love it if you would share your work by submitting your story or poem! All pieces will be posted online with others inspired by this region. You retain creative ownership of works shared.
