On Saturday April 23rd, all the Fairelands will come together to celebrate the life – and commemorate the 400th anniversary of the passing – of one of the greatest Fantasy writers of all time: William Shakespeare.
We are marking this momentous occasion with two very special performances.
Firstly, at 11am – 1pm SLT
Cold Shot Play Readers read, in OPEN MIC, Short Comedy Scenes, 10-minute One Act Plays, and play excerpts. They work with the Flash play format, also known as the 10-minute play. Sometimes they read longer scenes and one act plays.
For Shakespeare Day at Fantasy Faire, as always, true to the spirit of Cold Shot, they are going to be reading modern versions of scenes from some of the Bard’s plays and a longer reading of a play about the brooding Hamlet.
If you are planning to read with here with the Players, please consider coming in costume. As always, they leave your choices for costuming up to you but suggest you try to work the theme of the Elizabethan period.
Then, at 1.30pm

How do I see / hear the Performance?
You can come to the theater space on OtherWorld … but we expect seats will be taken quickly.
As you will be able to hear the audio on the Fantasy Faire Radio stream, you can actually watch the performance by camming in from Twilight Illusion. Echtra (on the other side) will have a roleplay in progress and so you are requested NOT to watch from there.
If you can’t get on to the region, you can watch the production on AviewTV because they will be streaming it LIVE!
