Literary Festival Schedule for Sunday May 2nd

We have a special programme for the last day of major events, with readings, prompts, open mics. There’s a final visit to the Film Festival to discuss how to make a machinima, and interviews with the kids behind the Children of the Stories roleplay, and with the creators of Somniatoris Arx.

Shyla is one of Second Life’s favourite poets with a stunning set of poems. She will be reading from her work and chatting with the audience, answering questions. Settle down with a drink and snacks!

Fantasy Faire Film Festival: How to Make a Machinima

Machinima makers, including Chantal Harvey, Huckleberry Hax, Saffia Widdershins and Aisling Sinclair, discuss how to start creating machinima.

The Kids are Alright!

Throughout the Faire, an exciting roleplay has been in progress, centred on The Amethyst Rift, but spreading out across the grid. Now some of the players and people behind the roleplay join the Literary Festival to talk about the story of the Children of Stories!

Interview with Walton F. Wainwright and Victor E. Eton
4:00pm – 5:00pm

Join us in Somniatoris Arx for an interview with builders Walton F. Wainwright and Victor E. Eton. Aoife Lorefield will talk with Wainwright and Eton about their creative processes, how they build stories into their designs, and how the amazing Somniator emerged. This interview will be held in text in the center circle before the gallery where the Somniator rests.
