This Month on Fantasy Faire Radio: October 2019

It’s October and most likely, wherever you are, the former season has given up all pretensions of lingering, and it is now well and truly autumn.  Autumn is different across the globe, but one thing we know is that it’s a great time for celebration. Soon it will be six months since last Faire, and six months till Fantasy Faire 2020 – and at Fantasy Faire Radio (where you only need to clear your throat loudly for us to party) we have seasonal fun to offer between now and All Hallows.

“I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy the one, I will indulge the other.”

~ from Frankenstein, by Mary Wollenscroft Shelley

** Frankenstein is back! Last year FFR partnered with Seanchai Library for a live broadcast of a radio drama adaptation of the Mary Shelley classic. Did we record it and produce it? You BET we did! We will be airing this 2-hour presentation twice, and you won’t want to miss it.  The cast features Zander Greene, Elrik Merlin, David Abbot, Corwyn Allen, Caledonia Skytower, with Shandon Loring as Frankenstein’s Creation.FINAL Stand Alone Frankenstein Album Cover

“For each of us there are two natures, the good and the evil.  All of our lives there is a fight between them. But in our own hands is the power to choose . . .”

~ from The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson

** The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde is coming! Once again FFR partners with Seanchai Library to bring you Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novella.  We’ll be broadcasting live from Pixeltrix, the community that brings the Octoberville game/hunt to the Second life grid. They are taking a year off from their usual October festivities, and welcomed Fantasy Faire Radio to stop in with a story.
