The Faire is brimming with stories: breathtaking builds and fantastical creations designed to touch your heart and soul. What stories do they inspire in you? We invite you to put your Fantasy Faire experience into words.
Sanoria (Chic Aeon)
Soft sands and warm breezes speak of a age long ago when ancients, no longer tethered to time and place, departed Sanoria in search of others of their kind. Ruins, seemingly deserted, still hold echoes of their essence and when the Southern winds call pilgrims come. They know not why — only that there is magic in the land that calls to them and they cannot resist.
Seeds of Story
These are suggestions. Be inspired by this land and write what you desire.
What is this circle that looks like a clock? Or perhaps a gate? Is this how you arrived in this strange land? If you need this to leave again, how in the heavens might it work?
As you wander through the desolate sands, you find objects at odds with the very basic shelters here. These objects, some, seem an odd combination of metal and organic. Were these a creature once? Of what possible kind?
And these metal balls are clearly constructed. By whom? Were there star travelers here at one time? Did they choose to live here? Or did they perhaps crash on their way elsewhere, doing their best to survive?
You notice, in the lengthening shadows, something that might be a smaller “gate” or portal near the door of one of the ruined houses. Is this how the visitors left? Do you dare step on it yourself? What will happen if you do?
This building, though ruined, speaks to more organization than the simpler shelters around. You wander inside, perhaps thinking to shelter here at nightfall. What could its purpose be? How can you use it if you find yourself truly … *gulp* … stranded here?
