The portals to the Fairelands opened yesterday at 9 AM SLT, allowing visitors and guests to reach them. In just a few moments the fourteen fantasy worlds were covered with curious explorers, amazed at the new shapes and forms the continent had taken over its year long hibernation in the mists.
The Literary Festival started off its impressive schedule with a Region Tour to the Golden Delta. These trips are group wanderings into Fairelands with included writing prompts and take place daily, focusing in the beauty and details of the Fairelands.
There are four roleplay-groups in the Fairelands this year, each weaving their own story as it takes place in the Faire. The visitors are welcome to come see what is happening, and usually also encouraged to participate in the roleplay! Yesterday two of the storylines started as blood rained down on Sanctuary, bringing with it a gypsy with a dire message, and on planet NeoVictoria a soul-caster brought a word that caused the group to open a portal to the City of Serenity.
We also had a wonderful lineup of DJs playing on FaireChylde, our beloved party ship carried by a dragon, currently docked in OtherWorld. DJ Zander Greene did the honors and opened the airwaves for the fresh-arrived Faire for four hours. He was followed by DJs Elrik Merlin, Roofus Rossini and Holocluck Henly.
Today the Literary Festival speeds up with several events. The Region Tour to The Golden Delta takes place again, in case you missed it last night. The trip starts at 10 AM SLT today in the Pavillion in OtherWorld.
Literary Festival also hosts readings by Caledonia Skytower 11AM – 12 PM and Ketsui Naidoo 1 – 2 PM and The Short Story Discussion Group with Destry Recreant 3 – 4 PM. All of the Literary Festival events take place in the Pavillion in OtherWorld.
The LitFest events of the day wrap up with a Region Tour to Lucentia 5:30 – 6:30 PM, the tour gathering first in the Pavillion in OtherWorld.
The dance and particle performances begin today, now that the Fairelands have settled firmly into our reality.
At 11AM – 12PM The Night Theater presents “Fairytales Told”, 2PM – 3PM ColeMarie Soleil’s Particle & Music Perfomance, 5-6PM The Misfits Dance Performance presents “The Rest of the Story… a Showcase of Theater Dance Art” and 8-9 PM The Monarchs present “Adventures from the Lost Island”.
The roleplay stories within the Fairelands continue today with The Great Alliance’s Suitors for the Queen in Twilight Illusion at 4-5:30 PM and The NeoVictoria Project’s The Sidhe & The Soul-Eater at 6-9 PM in Serenity.
The parties on FaireChylde continue! We have four DJs lined up for your dancing pleasure: 11AM – 1PM DJ Fizban Underwood, 1-3 PM DJ Elrik Merlin, 5-7 PM DJ Nyza Stillwater and 7-9 PM DJ Ktahdn Vesuvino. Join the party on FaireChylde at the OtherWorld Dock!
Today The Fairelands Quest: The Tale of Exiles will also begin! Keep an eye on the landing points and your ear to the Fantasy Faire Radio!
Last but not least: there is a word from the Pawlice, our over-excited and excitable Tiny Sheriffs Association that three criminals of highest rank have been caught and imprisoned! Kayle Matzerath (creator of Garden of Dreams, builder of Breeze), Kilik Lekvoda (creator of Titans, builder of Bright Haven) and Rynn Verwood (creator of Solarium, builder of Malfience) have all been caught and imprisoned together! Their Jail and Bail will take place at 3-5 PM SLT in Breeze. Come bail them out or throw tomatoes at them, up to you!
